> Marie-Ann LaRoche is a multidisciplinary artist born in Quebec City. She grew up between Ottawa and Quebec City before settling in Montreal in 2020. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from Concordia University and recently began a second bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Her artistic practice is shaped by liminality, personal relationships, nightlife, and her queer and neurodivergent identity. Taking an almost archival approach, she captures and reconstructs her lived experiences through painting, photography, video, installation, and interactive art. Her work has been exhibited at Ada X, VAV Gallery, and the Art Matters Festival.
